Summer Job as a Personal Assistant

Your Mission

As a personal assistant, you will support and empower the client’s ability to live an independent and self-sufficient life based on individual needs, interests, and circumstances. This includes everything from personal hygiene and care to activities and actively working for a meaningful and stimulating existence. The work is varied, and you may have the opportunity to work with different clients and environments. The tasks also include some documentation.

You will work according to a schedule, and the working hours vary depending on the client but can be scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and nights. Of course, you will receive an introduction before you start working.

Your Experience

To be considered for the role, you must have:

• turned 18 years old
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• good physical ability

It is an advantage if you have:

• previous experience in healthcare and social services, personal assistance, or in child and leisure activities
• completed education or studying in healthcare and social services, or child and leisure with a focus on educational or social work
• a B driver's license
• experience with documentation and computer skills

Since you often work alone, it is important that you are independent and have personal maturity as well as a genuine interest in working as a personal assistant. You need to be flexible and solution-oriented.

About Us

The Care & Assistance Service is a municipal operation that works on behalf of the Social Services and the Social Insurance Agency in Nacka. The service offers support and assistance to adults, children, and youth with disabilities under LSS and SoL. About the Employment

• We prefer that you can work a continuous period of at least 4-6 weeks during the period of June-August.
